As a Registered Nurse specializing in Case Management/Utilization Review, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patients receive the highest quality of care while optimizing resource utilization. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding patients through their healthcare journey, from admission to discharge.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patient needs and coordinate care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective utilization of resources
- Facilitate discharge planning and ensure continuity of care
- Perform utilization reviews to evaluate the necessity and efficiency of healthcare services
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to regulatory standards
- Need 1 year experience in setting
- Three-Five years nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting: Required
- Associate Degree (A.S.) or equivalent: Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing: Preferred
- Recent experience in utilization review, discharge planning, and/or inpatient case management: Preferred
- Current RN license in state of practice: Required
- AHA BLS Required
