As a Telemetry Nurse, you will play a vital role in monitoring patients' cardiac rhythms and ensuring their safety and well-being. You will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality care to telemetry and post-operative surgical patients, including orthopedic and general surgery cases
- Administering and managing drips such as Insulin, Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone
- Reading and measuring telemetry strips accurately
- Documenting patient information using EPIC charting system
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
Requirements for this role include:
- Active Iowa or compact/multistate RN license
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS and BLS certifications
- Need 2 years experience in setting
- Experience with telemetry and post-operative care
- Proficiency in EPIC charting preferred
- Drip experience with Insulin, Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone
