As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will deliver technical nursing care to residents, working closely with a team under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse. You may also take on the charge nurse role, ensuring the highest standards of care in the Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Provide direct nursing care to residents using the nursing process
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor residents' conditions and report any changes to the RN
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures
- Need 1 year experience in setting
- Current California LVN license and CPR Certification required
- Graduate from an approved LVN program with an associate's or equivalent degree
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use a computer proficiently
