- Installs and ensures the efficient and safe operations of all pump equipment, new or replacement parts.
- Inspect and repair pumps to ensure efficient operation and proper functioning equipment.
- Disassembles broken or defective pump equipment to facilitate repair and reassemble when repairs are complete.
- Perform routine maintenance to all pump equipment.
- Keeps accurate and timely records of equipment movement, installation progress, service schedules, customer interactions, and other paperwork as required for proper documentation of work performed.
- Clean and test all repaired equipment to ensure operations and appearance is up to company standards.
- Other duties as assigned. Regular attendance is required to fulfill the essential functions of the job.
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- Mechanical aptitude with at least 2 years' experience with diesel and/or electric pump repairs and similar equipment.
- Ability to diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams and schematics.
- Exceptional communication skills: Customer service experience is a plus.
- "Can do" attitude with the ability to collaborate with co-workers, customers and vendors.
