We are seeking an experienced APRN or PA to join our Urgent Care Team, where clinical excellence and collaboration are core to how care is delivered.

About Our Company

Capital Health Plan (CHP) is a not-for-profit mixed-model health maintenance organization (HMO) that offers employer group and Medicare Advantage plans. We are nationally recognized for providing high-quality care at low administrative costs and are known for our high patient satisfaction scores. CHP serves members of all ages with a dedicated urgent care clinic for medical care that members consider urgent when their primary care provider is unavailable or after hours. Urgent Care APRNs or PAs work independently but always work with a physician colleague. The facility is modern and state-of-the-art, featuring onsite x-rays, ultrasounds, EKG, and a stat lab.

The Physician Group of Capital Health Plan (PGCHP) provides comprehensive health care for our patients of all ages, genders, and conditions. Our priority is focused around promoting disease prevention and healthy living. The PGCHP is a primary care practice providing care exclusively to Capital Health Plan members. It boasts amazing longevity, as many of the physicians have been with the practice for over 20 years. This has encouraged new physicians to choose to join the practice, so that we may continue to thrive for years to come.

About Our Benefits

At CHP, the benefits include:

• Competitive base salary along with an Incentive Program.
• Urgent Care providers work three eleven-hour shifts weekly (6 shifts in a 2-week pay period) unless on scheduled time off or CME.
• Employer-provided insurance coverage for malpractice, health, life, and disability insurance, with health insurance fully paid for you and your dependents.
• Strong clinical support from RNs, LPNs, MAs, PTs, and reception staff.
• Four weeks of paid time off, which increases to five weeks after four years. Paid time off can be cashed in periodically if additional compensation is preferred.
• One week of CME time plus up to $3,200 per year for CME expenses.
• Employer contribution to a simplified pension plan (IRA-SEP) of 12% annually, vested after six months of service.
• Coverage of professional business expenses, including licensure fees, local and state medical society dues, and dues for one specialty society.
• Opportunities to participate in Capital Health Plan committees and quality improvement projects.
