We are seeking a skilled Redis Administrator to manage, optimize, and maintain our Redis infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Redis clusters, performance tuning, high availability configurations, and monitoring distributed caching systems in production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Redis server instances, clusters, and sentinel setups.
Manage Redis high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies.
Monitor Redis performance and proactively resolve latency, memory, and throughput issues.
Optimize Redis configuration parameters for caching, persistence, and data eviction policies.
Implement and maintain Redis security, including TLS, authentication, and access control.
Perform backup, restore, and data migration operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong experience with Redis, including standalone, clustered, and sentinel architectures.
Proficiency in Linux system administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.).
Solid understanding of: Caching strategies, Memory management, Eviction policies ,Persistence modes (RDB, AOF)
Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, RedisInsight, ELK, etc.).
Experience working in cloud environments (AWS ElastiCache, Azure Cache for Redis, GCP MemoryStore).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Kubernetes and running Redis on K8s (Helm charts, Operators).
Familiarity with Redis modules (RediSearch, RedisJSON, RedisGraph, etc.).
Certifications related to cloud, DevOps, or database administration.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab).
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $41.61/hour - $65.01/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
