Salesforce DevOps Engineer / Salesforce Administrator

• We are seeking a skilled Salesforce DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in GIT-based version control, CI/CD tools (Gearset, Copado, Bitbucket Pipelines), and strong capabilities in Salesforce Administration and Data Loader operations.

• This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end release lifecycle, optimizing DevOps processes, and ensuring smooth, error free deployments across Salesforce environments.
  

Key Responsibilities:

Salesforce DevOps & Release Management:

• Manage and streamline the Salesforce CI/CD pipeline using tools such as Copado, Gearset, Bitbucket, and GIT.

• Maintain and optimize branching strategy, version control, pull requests, and code reviews.

• Automate deployments, track deployment changes, and ensure compliance across environments.

• Troubleshoot deployment issues related to metadata, dependencies, permission sets, and testing.

• Implement DevOps best practices including automated testing, sandbox management, and quality checks.

• Collaborate with developers, admins, architects, and QA for smooth release cycles.

Salesforce Administration:

• Monitor system health, performance, and platform updates.

• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and Salesforce best practices.

• Perform routine configuration tasks in Salesforce, including:

• User and role management

• Permission sets, profiles, and sharing rules

• Flows, automation rules, approval processes

• Page layouts, record types, fields, and validation rules

Data & Integration Management:

• Perform data operations using Salesforce Data Loader, including bulk inserts, updates, upserts, deletes, and exports.

• Ensure data accuracy, deduplication, cleansing, and transformation as needed.

• Support data migration across sandboxes and production environments.

• Maintain documentation for data flows, data dictionary, and integration touchpoints.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps tools:

• GIT / GitHub / Bitbucket

• Gearset

• Copado

• Bitbucket Pipelines or similar CI/CD tools

• Experience in Salesforce Admin configuration.

• Strong command over Salesforce Metadata architecture and deployment complexities.

• Proficiency with Salesforce Data Loader for bulk data operations.

• Experience with SFDX, packaging, and metadata API (nice to have).
  

Certifications (Preferred):

• Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201)

• Salesforce Platform App Builder (optional)

• Copado or Gearset certifications (added advantage)

• Salesforce DevOps Center experience (preferred)
  

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  
  

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $41.61/hour - $65.01/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
