Responsibilities of the role:
Responsible for the success of regional network services. This includes, but is not limited to:
Maintains and supports the network infrastructure with careful attention to detail
Handle physical tasks involving placement and set-up of network equipment
Closely collaborates with the network delivery services and L1 infrastructure services
Provides accurate and consistent internal and external customer communication during established intervals using phone, email, and ticketing notes.
Follow detailed instructions as it pertains to the set-up of equipment (routers, switches, UPS, APs, cabling) and work independently while meeting all set-up timelines/deadlines.
Manage the assigned Service Now queue to maintain service level objectives
Conducts network site surveys
Night and weekend work will be required from time to time as required in support of project requirements
Education / Experience:
Basic Qualifications. Indicate MINIMUM level of education required, plus the field of study.
Previous work in technical related area. 2-3 year's experience in design and network support functions
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and successfully completes in a timely manner
Prioritization and time management skills required to manage various projects and tasks concurrently and efficiently
Strong communication and relationship skills, with emphasis in the ability to articulate advanced technical topics to both technical and non-technical staff; ability to articulate business issues/concerns with staff, peers, leadership, and outside parties.
MS Office and MS Visio proficiency
Position Requirements:
Must be a strong independent contributor who is a team player capable of mentoring and helping their peers to becoming strong technical peers. Must be able to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
The candidate will be escalated to by both client's and customer representatives to address current or future needs in their area of responsibility
Must have a strong technical acumen for corporate network technology infrastructures and have the ability to discuss and teach technologies at a technical level amongst their peers.
The candidate's expertise will be counted upon for significant refresh planning, major incident resolution, communication with the customer and to assist with proposals
Ability to effectively communicate issues, remediation plans and status on major initiatives to higher levels of leadership
Ability to direct and interact during major outages and/or initiatives
Ability to utilize Microsoft Office applications (Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
Travel requirements are not expected for this role
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
Professional conduct, and grooming, adhering to company policy
Interpersonal Skills:
Ability to interface with non-IT savvy business partners as well as technical staff
Aptitude to articulate challenges effectively to company and customer executives
Construct action plans and provide oversight to ensure delivery
Possess a high-level of written, verbal & presentation & skills
Responsible to meet directed deadlines and excellent attention to detail
Self-starter with excellent time management skills

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $23.11/hour - $36.12/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
