Job Title: L1 Network Engineer (Cisco)

Overview:
We’re hiring an L1 Network Engineer to support a fast-paced, enterprise environment. This is a hands-on role focused on routing and switching, network support, and infrastructure deployments. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working both independently and alongside senior network teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN)
- Hands-on work with Cisco routers, switches, and network hardware
- Assist with installations: cabling, APs, UPS, and network devices
- Perform basic configurations and troubleshooting (routing & switching)
- Manage ticket queue (ServiceNow or similar) and meet SLAs
- Conduct site surveys and support network deployments
- Provide consistent updates via tickets, email, and phone
- Support network refreshes, upgrades, and incident response
- Work occasional nights/weekends for project support
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2–3 years of network support experience
- Strong fundamentals in Cisco routing and switching (VLANs, TCP/IP, STP, basic routing protocols)
- Experience with network hardware installation and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with tools like ServiceNow (or similar ticketing systems)
- Basic knowledge of wireless (APs, controllers) is a plus
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, physical environment (lifting up to 60 lbs)
Nice to Have:
- Cisco certifications (CCNA or working toward it)
- Experience with network diagrams (Visio)
- Exposure to enterprise environments or large-scale deployments
