  • Our client is a leading global automaker and mobility provider that offers clean, connected, affordable and sage mobility solutions.

  • It serves the Vehicle systems/Engineering functions and enables clients to meet their vision and span across Meta Functional areas i.e. Propulsion Systems, Body Chassis Control, EECI (Electrical/Electronics, Connectivity & Infotainment), Vehicle System Architecture and System Engineering areas. It consists of several

  • key responsibilities that involves collaboration with cross function teams in Client like Product, Design, Release, System Requirements, Integration, Validation & Quality Engineering, across subsystems like Radio/Entertainment systems, Telematics Controls Systems, Audio Systems & Instrument Cluster units to enable successful launches of ICE/Battery equipped vehicles

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review on schedule the deliverables needed in APQP grids and ensure supplier is providing some of them on time with required 3D model is delivered and packaging review are set and in compliance with Packaging technical specification and requirements.

  • Follow-up of the 3D model design convergence, progress and release, nomenc, the packaging of the part and interfaces management, etc.

  • Ensure Component drawings are set according to design rules and complies the main interfaces and pin out from the part.

  • Ensure Compliance with regulations applicable to the part. Ensure the availability of Cybersecurity recommendations and compliance of tests with rules.

  • Ensure DFMEA (Design Failure Modes their Effects and Analysis) and Process FMEA are managed on time with relevant consistency.

  • Get Validation report and associated justification along the development. Organization and planning of technical reviews with associated client stakeholders/ partners and steering of action plans for freezing (HW, SW, Mechanical, Optical, Safety, PCB layout...).

  • Manage Engineering Change request and Change notification for the part. Detailes analysis that supports main features functionalities while issues fixing (failure tree analysis reports, 5 Why, etc.).

  • Provide KPI and issues follow-up to project team to ensure relevant maturity and Sw stability to the part

  • Timing plan associated to modernization and flashing campaign within the plant

  • Store and records any documentation supporting decision and / or justifying design choices during the development.

  • Provide a minute's report to each meeting detailing decision and action plans with dates and pilots. Maintain a list reporting all the open issues and their status.

  • Main documentation describing the recommendations from the engineering team for packaging of the part (lessons learned) and those from supplier. If part is eligible to safety requirements, ensure that relevant justifications and reports confirms compliance with safety rules

  • Plant documentation that assess part compliance for its assembly that needs to be signed off.

  • Documentation that supports technical assessment in front of each suppliers offer, and provide a statement on them.

  • Ensure follow-up and tracking of main deliverables along the development. SW, Hw, MK documentation that can support RFQ and all along the development.

  • Based on engineering changes : ensure the relevant update on technical package

  • SW, Hw, MK technical review with suppliers and check compliance with specifications (compliance from the supplier)

  • Mechanical : Deep dive with suppliers on action plan to recover from non compliance on specifications

  • HW / SW : Deep dive with suppliers on action plan to recover from non compliance on specifications.

  • Formalization of documentation linked to the progress of development ( SW, HW,reports) with respect to project milestones and maturities.

  • Ensure part release management in coordination with supplier

  • GIM Triaging, issue management with GIM tool warranty and quality issue follow up and supplier communication

  • Post Release/Warranty claim analysis, after sale issue management linked to claim and warranty. technical service bulletin RSU SOL etc.

  • Vehicle Parts Logistics, collect the vehicle needs to request from production per phase, score cards and KPI management

  • Presentation to the panel of validation for OTA/FOTA update in serial life For FOTA components(Radio/TBM upgrade, present, work with OTA assessment team, validation teams ,captive fleet ,FOTA campaigns and gain all the approvals.

  • Identify the concerned feature and link with them to help answer the supplier Specification convergence/QIA.

  • Cost Management, Link between purchasing/buyer and supplier bulletin management Using STLA process/tools for aligning on Cost /volume with suppliers(CCD/PO)

  • Collection of input data (for eg. Feasibility, requirements, expectations,...) from stakeholders contacts. Retrieve input data and associated development scenarios.

Mandatory skills:

  • Experience in SW development for Automotive ECUs - 4

  • Android development - 3

  • ASPICE, AWS tools - 4

  • Use of Vector CANoe, Canalyzer and CAPL languages - 4

  • Implementation and maintanence of Android services and middleware services - 3

  • Low level SW design and implementation of custom vendor specific middleware services and HALs. -3

Optional skills:

  • Kotlin/Java programming - 3

  • Python/UML/Json programming - 3

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $22.42/hour - $35.03/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
