  • We are seeking an experienced Majesco Functional Lead to drive business analysis functional design and implementation of insurance solutions on the Majesco platform The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in insurance domain processes and indepth knowledge of Majesco applications Policy Billing Claims

  • The role will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams ensuring business requirements are accurately translated into scalable and efficient Majesco solutions

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis Requirements Gathering:

  • Lead workshops with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements

  • Document business processes functional requirements and use cases

  • Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications

Functional Design Solutioning:

Design functional solutions using:

  • Majesco Policy Administration

  • Majesco Billing

  • Majesco Claims

  • Configure product features aligned with business requirements

  • Define workflows rules and user journeys

Requirements Translation Collaboration:

  • Act as liaison between

  • Business teams

  • Technical teams developers architects

  • Ensure functional requirements are clearly understood and implemented

Testing Validation:

  • Define and review test scenarios test cases and acceptance criteria

  • Support

  • SIT System Integration Testing

  • UAT User Acceptance Testing

  • Validate system behavior against business expectations

Process Optimization:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation

  • Recommend best practices and optimal product usage

  • Ensure minimal customization and leverage out of the box features

Documentation Knowledge Management:

  • Prepare functional design documents FDDs BRDs and user stories

  • Maintain traceability between requirements and deliverables

  • Provide knowledge transfer and user training

Stakeholder Management:

  • Engage with business users SMEs and product owners

  • Provide regular updates on requirements and functional progress

  • Support change management and adoption initiatives

Required Skills Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Business IT Engineering or related field

Experience:

  • 8-12 years of experience in insurance domain and business analysis

  • 4-6 years working with Majesco platforms or similar PAS systems

Domain Expertise:

Strong understanding of:

  • Policy lifecycle quote bind issue renew

  • Underwriting processes

  • Billing invoicing workflows

  • Claims lifecycle

  • Experience in PC Life or Health insurance

Majesco Functional Expertise:

Hands-on experience in:

  • Majesco Policy

  • Majesco Billing

  • Majesco Claims

  • Knowledge of product configuration workflows and rules

Functional Analytical Skills:

  • Business analysis and requirement elicitation

  • Functional design and documentation

  • Process modeling BPMN flow diagrams

  • Testing support and validation

Technical Awareness Good to Have:

Understanding of:

  • APIs and system integrations

  • Data modeling and data mapping

  • Agile tools JIRA Azure DevOps

  • Familiarity with cloud environments AWS Azure

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work with cross functional teams

  • Analytical thinking and problem solving ability

  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in largescale Majesco implementations or transformations

  • Agile/Scrum experience

  • Exposure to digital insurance platforms

  • Certification in business analysis CBAP or Agile CSMPSM

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $57.83/hour - $90.36/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
