We are seeking a highly experienced Majesco Data Migration Lead to drive end to end data migration activities for insurance transformation programs involving Majesco platforms Policy Billing Claims The role involves defining migration strategy leading data mapping and conversion activities and ensuring high data quality and accuracy during system transitions
The ideal candidate combines strong data migration expertise insurance domain knowledge and hands-on experience with Majesco implementations or similar PAS systems
Key Responsibilities:
Data Migration Strategy Planning:
Define end to end data migration strategy approach and roadmap
Analyze legacy data systems and identify migration scope
Establish data governance cleansing and validation frameworks
Data Mapping Transformation:
Lead data mapping workshops with business and technical teams
Define
Source to target mappings
Transformation rules
Data enrichment strategies
Ensure alignment with Majesco data models
Data Conversion Execution:
Oversee design and execution of:
ETL processes
Data conversion scripts
Coordinate multiple migration cycles
Mock runs
Dress rehearsals
Final cutover
Data Validation Reconciliation:
Define validation frameworks and reconciliation strategies
Perform data quality checks
Completeness
Accuracy

Ensure successful reconciliation between legacy and Majesco systems
Data Quality Governance:
Establish data quality standards and controls
Identify data issues and define cleansing strategies

Required Skills Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science IT Engineering or related field
Experience:
10 years of IT experience with strong focus on data migration
4-6 years in insurance domain projects PC Life or Health
Experience in Majesco implementations or similar platforms Guidewire Duck Creek etc

Strong understanding of insurance data related to:

Customer and account data
Billing and financial transactions
