We are seeking a highly skilled AEM Technology Lead / Sr. Developer to drive the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-grade digital experience platforms using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This role requires deep expertise across AEM Sites, Assets (DAM), Headless and Headful architectures, Adobe Analytics, and AEM as a Cloud Service, along with strong hands-on development skills in Java and JavaScript.
The ideal candidate will act as a hands-on Technical Lead and Solution Designer / Developer, guiding teams, defining best practices, and delivering scalable, high-performance digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design:
Lead end-to-end architecture and implementation of AEM-based digital platforms, covering both headless (API-first) and headful (template-driven) architectures
Define scalable and reusable solution patterns using Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, GraphQL APIs, and SPA frameworks
Drive adoption of AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS), including cloud-native architecture, CI/CD, and containerized deployments [MohanGupta-AEM-DEV | PowerPoint]
AEM Development & Engineering:
Design and develop AEM components, templates, workflows, and services using Sling Models, OSGi, and HTL
Build and manage AEM Sites and Assets (DAM) for enterprise content and digital asset management
Integrate AEM with enterprise systems via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms
Implement scalable caching, CDN strategies, and performance optimization
Adobe Experience Cloud Integration:
Integrate AEM with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, and other Experience Cloud solutions to enable data-driven personalization and insights
Support advanced use cases such as personalization, content targeting, and omnichannel experience delivery
Headless & Frontend Architecture:
Lead development of headless CMS solutions leveraging GraphQL, JSON APIs, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular)
Deliver high-quality front-end experiences with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, ensuring responsive and accessible UI
Cloud & DevOps:
Define and implement CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, and automated deployments for AEM environments
Manage AEM environments (Author, Publish, Dispatcher) aligned with best practices
Drive modernization initiatives including migration from on-prem AEM to AEM Cloud Service
Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to distributed development teams
Collaborate with business stakeholders, marketing teams, and architects to align solutions with business goals
Own technical governance, code quality, and platform scalability
Required Skills & Experience:
Core Technical Skills:
8 to 12 years of experience in digital platforms, with 5 years in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
Strong expertise in:
AEM Sites, Assets (DAM), Forms
Headless CMS (Content Fragments, GraphQL)
AEM Core Components and Editable Templates
Strong hands-on development in:
Java / J2EE (Spring, Servlets)
JavaScript (ES6 , React/Angular preferred)
AEM Architecture & Platform Knowledge:
Deep understanding of:
Sling, OSGi, JCR repository
AEM workflows, content modeling, and personalization
Multi-site management, localization, and governance
Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)
Adobe Ecosystem:
Hands-on experience with:
Adobe Analytics (tracking, data layer, reporting)
Adobe Launch / Tag Management
Adobe Experience Cloud integrations
Understanding of digital marketing ecosystem and content lifecycle

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $46.23/hour - $72.23/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
