GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Job Coach will be responsible for supporting students enrolled in Project Forward's vocational training program at their specific job sites. The Job Coach coordinates with the Program's Workforce Coordinator and Program Instructors to ensure seamless transition of skills, fading of support and collaboration across curriculum. Multiple positions are open for Spring 2026 semester start.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
- Guide and provide scaffolded support to students with disabilities working at job sites within their chosen vocation.
- Communicate directly with Instructors regarding needed job skills and areas for improvement.
- Evaluate student performance on the job and prepare student evaluation reports at the end of each semester.
- Attend student conferences if necessary.
- Attend staff meetings and program events.
- Act as a program liaison at job site and report any issues or queries back to Workforce Coordinator
- Drive students to job site in program van or college car.
- Work as floating substitute Instructor as needed
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 1-2 years' experience working with special needs students.
- Ability to perform physical work and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Proficiency with computers and technology, including Microsoft Office 365.
- Proficiency in oral and written communication.
- Must have a valid MA state driver's license.
- Able to transport students in a program van to job sites.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Additional Information:
COMPENSATION: $35.31 (Interval 1 - Starting) per hour, up to 18 hours per week; Part-time, Non-benefited MCCC Unit Position.
