GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The faculty will teach Dental Radiology (DAS-100). This 3-credit course requires comprehensive asynchronous instruction and in person hands-on laboratory instruction to dental assisting students. The faculty will prepare students for clinical radiographic procedures. Faculty will provide hands-on laboratory instruction in proper x-ray exposure techniques and basic principles of radiographic interpretation. To be filled for Academic Year 2025-26.
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene or related field.
- Demonstrate experience with asynchronous teaching.
- Teaching experience at the college level or equivalent.
- Ability to create an environment that supports student learning and success
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience teaching in a community college setting.
- Evidence of teaching methodology, experience with learning management systems such as Moodle.

COMPENSATION: Anticipated staring salary - Step 1 DCE pay scale. Part-time, non-benefitted MCCC/DCE Unit position.
