Cantor Fitzgerald Asset Management (CFAM) is the investment management division of Cantor Fitzgerald. Responsibilities:
We are seeking a National Accounts Director to drive distribution of our investment strategies across major U.S. intermediary platforms, with a focus on select Wirehouses, Independent and Regional Broker-Dealers, and Financial Institutions.
This role is responsible for securing product approvals, achieving model portfolio inclusion, and building strategic relationships with home office relationship management, Offices of the CIO, Alternatives and Public Markets product analysts, and platform decision makers across large intermediary platforms firms, TAMPs, and custodians.
The ideal candidate brings established relationships, deep knowledge of platform dynamics, and a proven ability to convert platform access into scalable asset growth, investment research coverage and inclusion into firm-based models.
National Strategic Relationships / Platform Coverage
- Lead strategic distribution efforts at major intermediary firms within wealth management distribution.
- Coverage may include coverage of enterprise level RIA platforms, such as Hightower, Rockefeller, Dynasty and FOCUS.
- Build and maintain relationships with home office due diligence teams, CIOs, product platform committees and designated home office relationship management.
- Work with sales leadership team to design and execute field directives to drive adoption of the Cantor platform and increase wealth manager/advisor adoption and capital raising.
Product Approval & Platform Access
- Drive the full lifecycle of platform onboarding initial engagement and positioning, due diligence (DDQs, RFPs, presentations) and negotiation and final approval.
- Secure placement on approved lists, fee-based platforms (UMA/SMA programs) and advisory and brokerage platforms.
Model Portfolio & CIO Penetration
- Achieve inclusion in centralized and recommended model portfolios, managed account programs and CIO-driven asset allocation frameworks.
- Position strategies effectively within portfolio construction discussions.
Asset Growth & Commercialization
- Partner with field sales/wholesalers to drive flows post-approval.
- Identify high-impact opportunities across platforms and prioritize accordingly.
- Convert platform access into measurable AUM growth.
Product Positioning & Market Feedback
- Develop platform-specific messaging and value propositions.
- Provide feedback to product and investment teams on platform demand trends, competitive landscape. product gaps and opportunities.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Coordinate closely with Product Development, Marketing (platform-targeted materials) and Legal/Compliance (selling agreements, approvals).
- Lead RFP/DDQ processes and platform submissions.
Qualifications:
- 10–15 years in asset management distribution with a focus on national accounts/platform sales.
- Proven success securing approvals and model inclusion across wirehouse and bank channels.
- Strong existing relationships with home offices, CIO teams, and gatekeepers at major firms.
- Deep understanding of Intermediary platform structures, due diligence and approval processes and managed accounts, models, mutual funds, and/or ETFs.
Preferred Experience
- Direct experience working with firms such as Merrill, Wells Fargo, JPMorgan, Ameriprise, Baird, and both national and regional banks.
- Track record of achieving model portfolio inclusion and driving flows post-approval.
- Experience in a mid-sized or growing asset management firm environment.

Salary Range: $100,000-$250,000 quarterly bonus
The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis considering a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package (including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) retirement), this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
