Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Handle floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to keep all surfaces spotless and well-maintained
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff
- Follow established cleaning protocols for different areas, including industrial cleaning procedures when necessary
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
- Assist with laundry duties when required, including sorting, washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Support the overall cleanliness of the facility by adhering to health and safety regulations in all custodial activities
Requirements
- Must have availability for a flexible schedule as days off vary due to business needs
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments; hotel experience is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods
- Familiarity with custodial equipment such as vacuums, buffers, mops, and cleaning solutions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thoroughness in every task
- Flexibility to work part-time hours including evenings or weekends as needed
- Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required
