Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out processes using property management systems such as OPERA or similar hotel reservation platforms.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
- Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, verifying charges, payments, and reservations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain security by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting safety inspections, and following hotel emergency procedures.
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly using proper phone etiquette; relay messages accurately and efficiently to appropriate departments or guests.
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to ensure smooth handovers between shifts.
- Support front desk operations by managing guest relations, providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services in multiple languages if applicable.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations with a strong focus on customer service excellence.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse guests from various backgrounds.
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or other hotel reservation software.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest services protocols, and security practices to ensure guest safety at all times.
- Excellent phone communication skills with proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and maintaining professional phone etiquette.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address customer service issues promptly and effectively.
- Experience working in resort environments or hotels with high guest turnover is a plus.
