Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the hotel. This is a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for our guests. This particular position is every other weekend and a couple shifts during the week. 15-20 Hrs Weekly.
Duties:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Change bed linens and make beds
- Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop floors
- Dust furniture and fixtures
- Replenish supplies such as towels, toiletries, and amenities
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Manager
- Adhere to hotel policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and cleaning equipment
- Understanding of hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and guest service
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
