Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. As a Front Desk Agent, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience and managing front desk operations efficiently. This is a floater position that would include 2 Audit Shifts (11p-7a) and 2 Other Shift (7am-3p and/or 3p-11p)

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor.
  • Manage check-in and check-out processes smoothly and efficiently.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations.
  • Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls and relay messages.
  • Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
  • Assist in coordinating guest services such as room service, housekeeping, and maintenance requests.
  • Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette.
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to assist diverse clientele.
  • Familiarity with front desk operations in a hotel setting is advantageous.
  • Proficient in using phone systems and basic office equipment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to address guest needs effectively.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding guest services.
