We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team in Henderson, KY! This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering competitive pay and the chance to grow with a strong organization.
Pay:
- $36/hour
Shift:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Must be flexible for overtime rotation (as early as 5:00 AM and as late as 5:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise employees and manage daily production flow
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and production efficiency
- Ensure 5S standards are maintained throughout the facility
- Coach, lead, and discipline employees when necessary
- Coordinate and communicate with Team Leaders across all shifts
- Monitor quality control processes and ensure compliance
- Lead problem-solving efforts and implement corrective actions
- Track scrap and repair trends; implement improvement plans
- Maintain and verify production documentation and standards
- Monitor attendance, vacation time, and employee performance
- Update and manage training matrices
- Lead safety initiatives and conduct shop floor audits
- Complete performance evaluations
- Manage ADP eTime/payroll functions
- Support and enforce all company policies
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/production environment (3 years preferred)
- High school diploma required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple production lines (2–3 lines, up to 40 employees)
- Experience in a union environment is a plus
- Strong computer skills, including timekeeping/payroll systems
