CES/AWS is looking for a Continuous Improvement Leader for our Automotive Manufacturer Client.

About the Role
We’re looking for a driven and forward-thinking Continuous Improvement Leader to help transform operations and build a strong culture of Lean excellence.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys leading change, coaching teams, and wants to grow into a future Plant Operations leadership role.
What You’ll Do
Lead Improvement Initiatives
- Run high-impact Kaizen events to improve productivity, quality, and cost
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and eliminate waste
Drive Results That Stick
- Create 30/60/90-day plans to sustain improvements
- Track results and ensure long-term success
Coach & Develop Teams
- Train employees on Lean tools and problem-solving methods
- Mentor teams to build a culture of ownership and continuous learning
Partner with Leadership
- Work with plant leaders to prioritize key improvement projects
- Use data and analytics to guide decisions and improve performance
Lean Expert
- Apply tools like:
- 6S (workplace organization & safety)
- Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
- A3, 8D, DMAIC problem-solving
- Kanban / flow systems
- Gemba walks & daily management
Build a CI Culture
- Promote continuous improvement across all levels of the organization
- Lead audits, reinforce best practices, and drive accountability
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field (MBA a plus)
- 8 years of Continuous Improvement / Kaizen leadership experience
- 7 years in manufacturing or assembly environments
- Strong knowledge of Lean tools and problem-solving methods
- Proven ability to coach, influence, and develop teams
- Data-driven mindset with strong communication skills
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work in both office and plant environments
- Up to 40% travel required
- Valid driver’s license
