As an Event Marketing Specialist on the revenue marketing team, you will help plan and execute various events to drive measurable revenue growth and business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, especially sales, to ensure seamless event coordination and effective lead follow-up. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented individual who is eager to contribute to a team focused on quantifiable revenue outcomes.
Compensation: $26/hr
Availability: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. This role is set to start off as a 6 month contract. This individual can work out of the Denver or Portland, Oregon office.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Event Coordination: Foundational skills in event logistics, vendor communication, and supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of events.
- Operational Execution: Proficiency in using event management tools and platforms for tasks like registration, email communications, and attendee tracking.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, particularly sales, to ensure smooth event coordination and lead follow-up.
- Brand Awareness: Basic understanding of brand guidelines to ensure consistent messaging and representation across all event touchpoints.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field (i.e. Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management)
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, events, or a related role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well with cross-functional teams, especially Sales
- Comfort using basic marketing or event tools (registration platforms, email tools, spreadsheets)
- Interest in learning how events contribute to revenue and business goals
