Our client is a market leader in the Asian prepared foods category, offering a diverse portfolio across deli-prepared foods, grab & go, behind-the-glass, c-stores, retail frozen products, and foodservice. Known for high-quality offerings and authentic flavors, this organization has a strong presence across both retail and foodservice markets.
Compensation: $33-$38/hr
Availability: Monday - Friday, 8 -5 pm. Hybrid: 3 days in the office and two days working from home.
The Packaging Coordinator is a key member of the Marketing team and serves as the primary coordinator for all consumer packaging updates. This role works cross-functionally with internal teams and external packaging design and printing vendors to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely execution.
In addition to packaging coordination, this role manages e-commerce, advertising, and retailer web content assets, ensuring all materials remain current across consumer touchpoints.
Responsibilities
Packaging Coordination
- Coordinate internal and external communication for all consumer packaging artwork
- Share accurate product specifications with external packaging design agencies
- Partner with Supply Chain to confirm dielines and manufacturing requirements
- Manage agency timelines and communicate progress with internal stakeholders
- Coordinate with printers and track printer-ready files and version history
Workflow & Asset Management
- Manage internal design reviews and approvals using Ziflow
- Track feedback, validate changes with subject matter experts, and relay updates to agencies
- Maintain strict version control across internal and external files
- Ensure e-commerce and advertising assets remain updated as packaging changes occur
Marketing & Sales Support
- Monitor inventory levels of marketing and sales collateral
- Complete monthly inventory reconciliations
- Support POS and sales collateral requests as needed
- Manage product and POS assets within customer portals (e.g., Sysco, Dot Foods)
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience supporting marketing or sales teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Nice to Have/Strong Plus
- Packaging or production coordination experience in a food or beverage / CPG environment is a strong plus.
- Consumer packaging coordination
- Print production, dielines, or printer coordination
- Supply chain or manufacturing collaboration
- POS, inventory, or asset management experience
- E-commerce or retailer portal management (e.g., Sysco, Dot Foods)
- Experience working with packaging design or creative agencies
