We are seeking a skilled Echocardiographer to join a cardiovascular team on a contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience performing comprehensive cardiac ultrasound examinations, including vascular testing, while providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

- Location: Paramus, New Jersey
- Shift: Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Schedule: 5 × 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
- Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
- Start Date: August 3, 2026
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of a certified Cardiovascular Technology program or an accredited Ultrasonography program specializing in Cardiac Sonography.
- Current RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certification.
- Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Experience performing vascular testing is required.
- Knowledge of 2D, M-Mode, Doppler, Color Flow Imaging, Stress Echocardiography, TEE, Strain Imaging, and 3D Echocardiography.
- Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring, sterile techniques, and computerized imaging systems.
- Must maintain continuing education requirements for echocardiography certification.
- Previous clinical echocardiography experience is preferred.
- Cardiac catheterization laboratory or invasive procedure experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive echocardiograms, including 2D, M-Mode, Doppler, Color Flow, Stress Echo, TEE, Strain, and 3D studies.
- Conduct required vascular ultrasound examinations.
- Obtain patient history and prepare patients for cardiac ultrasound procedures.
- Assist physicians during Stress Echocardiograms and Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) procedures.
- Recognize and communicate critical or abnormal findings promptly to the cardiologist.
- Acquire and store high-quality digital images for physician interpretation.
- Perform portable bedside echocardiography as needed.
- Maintain, calibrate, clean, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment.
- Complete required documentation, billing records, and procedure logs accurately.
- Follow infection control, aseptic, and isolation protocols.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment.
- Assist in training new staff members and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Pay: $2,400.00 - $2,700.00 per week
