Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Hospice Care Manager
Location: Roanoke, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Pay:
- Travel Package: $2,100–$2,350 weekly gross
- Local Package: $47–$50/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Days (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Shift Options: Flexible schedule with consideration for 4x10-hour shifts
Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
Weekend Requirement: None
Mileage Reimbursement: $0.65 per mile
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive hospice nursing care to patients with life-limiting illnesses.
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Manage pain and symptom control while promoting patient comfort and dignity.
- Educate patients and family members regarding disease progression, medications, and end-of-life care.
- Respond effectively to changes in patient condition and provide crisis intervention when necessary.
- Coordinate care with physicians, social workers, chaplains, nursing staff, and other interdisciplinary team members.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or active Compact RN License.
- Minimum 1 year of recent Hospice RN experience.
- Current valid driver's license.
- Reliable personal transportation.
Pay: $2,100.00 - $2,350.00 per week
