Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Permanent Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technician to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will operate MRI equipment to produce detailed medical images that assist in diagnosing and evaluating various health conditions. Position- MRI Tech
Shift- 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Location- Brattleboro, VT
Pay- $104,601/annually (dependent upon experience)
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans with precision, adhering to established protocols and safety standards to ensure optimal image quality.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and addressing any concerns.
- Operate advanced MRI equipment, including systems capable of performing specialized scans such as CT (Computed Tomography), DEXA (Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry), and Sonography when required.
- Apply aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures, minimizing infection risks.
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to interpret images and support diagnostic evaluation processes.
- Maintain detailed records of procedures, patient information, and imaging results in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Formal AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology - Required.
- Previous experience in MRI in a hospital setting. - Required
- ARRT Registry - Required
- MRI Registry - Required
- CPR Certified - Required
- Venipuncture Certification - Required (Can be obtained within 3 months of hire)
- At least 2 recent supervisory references - Required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $102,500.00 - $104,601.00 per year
