Endoscopy Technician (Endo Tech) – Travel | Outpatient Diagnostics
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 4x10s (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
36 Guaranteed Hours/Week
Weekend rotation required
No Call
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, and sigmoidoscopy
- Support advanced procedures such as biopsies, polypectomies, PEG tube placement, dilations, and hemostasis
- Perform endoscope cleaning, disinfection, and reprocessing per facility protocols
- Prepare procedure rooms, instruments, and equipment prior to cases
- Monitor and maintain equipment functionality and report any issues
- Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient and equipment records in EPIC EMR
- Provide patient support and assist with positioning during procedures
- Maintain inventory and ensure proper stocking of supplies
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy Tech experience
- Strong experience with GI procedures and scope reprocessing (REQUIRED)
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR (preferred)
- Experience with ProVation (preferred)
Pay: $1,500.00 - $1,700.00 per week
