What are the responsibilities and job description for the Performing Host II- Singer position at Callaway Gardens?
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Singers that can maintain the voice part that was taught to them by the install director, working independently in an acapella setting and with other voice parts.
- Responsible for learning and maintaining the harmonies taught by the Install instructor.
- Being able to perform the selected pieces of music in various environments. This group will be moving around the Fantasy in Lights area performing for our guests.
- Manage guest experience by creating a fun welcoming performance experience.
- Monitor the Event to ensure Guests safety and security, including identifying and reporting potential hazards or disruption immediately.
- Address any Guest concerns or questions promptly and professionally, offering solutions where appropriate or escalating issues to the Special Events Supervisor, or Manager when necessary.
- Assist with Event-specific tasks, such as facilitating activities, assisting with entertainment and vendors, and ensuring Event details are executed according to plan.
- Represent Callaway Resort and Gardens in a professional and friendly manner, creating a positive and inclusive environment for all Event Guests.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Must be at least 16 years of age or older
- Previous Vocal experience a must
- Ability to rehearse in a group and independently on the material that is shared by the Install director.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Ability to remain flexible and adapt to the changing needs of events.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate event schedules is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and assist with event setup and breakdown.
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods during events regardless of weather conditions
- Ability to work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, and in different weather conditions.
