Under supervision of the Supervisor I, the Analyst I is responsible for a wide variety of consultative and analytical assignments in support of Public Safety Communications (PSC) and its client radio communication systems, installation and repair work and general business operations according to SAM, California Occupational Safety and Health Agency (Cal-OSHA), Telecommunications Division Manual (TDM), and supervisory direction.

Working Conditions
In Office: This position supports and manages the day-to-day business operations for Cal OES which is handled in an office location. This is not considered a hybrid telework position.
This position is located at the Public Safety Communications Campus in Sacramento, County.

The Logistics Directorate is responsible for a wide variety of Cal OES functions, including asset management, fleet administration, facilities management, information technology systems, warehousing, forms and records management, mail operations, copy service center, green programs, and emergency and disaster logistics.
In the event of an emergency, employees may be contacted and requested to report to work in the event of an emergency. This contact may be outside of your normal working hours (evenings/nights, weekends, and holidays). This service may require irregular work hours, work locations other than the official duty location, and may include duties other than those specified in your official position description. Travel requirements in support of emergency operations may be extensive in nature (weeks to months), with little advance notice, and you may be required to relocate to emergency sites.
