Job Description And Duties
The Directorate Division, Executive Office is looking for a motivated Analyst I to join the team. Under the supervision of the Supervisor I, the Analyst Iperforms a variety of analytical tasks related to the efficient functioning of the Executive Office. Assignments may cover a number of areas, including gathering statistical data, and assisting with correspondence, internal communications, and procedures. A high degree of initiative, professionalism, tact, and discretion are required. The Analyst I performs duties that require independence of action, independent analysis, political acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, diplomacy, flexibility and the ability to work under pressure.
Working Conditions This position has been designated as eligible for telework and is currently a remote-centered position. The position may however require in-person attendance when requested. The selected candidate would report to Department of Justice office in Sacramento when required to attend mandated in-person meetings, trainings, etc. Expenses related to travel to the office for required events are the responsibility of the employee. All telework schedules are subject to change and may be reevaluated at any time.
