Responsibilities- Design and develop advanced tooling systems that meet rigorous production specifications and quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement by implementing creative tooling enhancements that maximize component lifespan and production efficiency.
- Partner with cross-functional engineering and production teams to troubleshoot complex tooling challenges and resolve technical bottlenecks.
- Manage the full lifecycle of tool design documentation, including precise CAD models and comprehensive bills of materials.
- Oversee the tool change control process to ensure strict adherence to internal protocols and safety standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff and machine operators to foster a culture of operational excellence.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 4 years of professional experience specializing in tooling design within a manufacturing environment.
