Field Maintenance Specialist

As a Field Maintenance Specialist, you will serve as a primary technical expert responsible for the installation, diagnostic troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of complex industrial air compression systems. You will play a vital role in ensuring operational uptime for our clients by delivering high-quality technical solutions and fostering long-term customer partnerships.

• Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on rotary screw, reciprocating, and centrifugal air compressor systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using precision measurement tools and technical schematics to restore equipment functionality.
• Coordinate with internal teams to manage parts procurement and logistics for seamless site installations and commissioning.
• Provide expert technical guidance and training to junior team members to elevate overall service standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding system performance, offering insights on diagnostic audits, leak detection, and efficiency improvements.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and utilize mobile technology to track work progress and inventory.

Required Skills

• 2 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting industrial or commercial mechanical equipment.
• Proficiency in interpreting complex wiring schematics, diagrams, and automation control systems.
• Strong physical capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, kneeling, and working in various industrial environments.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent certification.

Preferred Skills

• Specific expertise in industrial air compressor maintenance and air treatment systems.
• Current EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Experience with vibration analysis and advanced network-based automation controls.
• Military service background is highly valued and encouraged.
