About the Role
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to contribute to the manufacturing of high-precision components. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, ensuring efficient production and adherence to quality standards. Your expertise in precision measuring equipment and problem-solving will be crucial to our success.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate Citizen, Tsugami, and Index multi-spindle lathes, as well as Robo Drills, Mill Turns, and horizontal/vertical mills to produce components.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using microscopes, micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, thread gauges, comparators, Micro-Hite, CMM, and vision systems to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Perform offsets and tool changes to maintain efficient production and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex machine or process issues to maintain production flow.
- Complete and maintain documentation related to quality inspection standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure proper material control, identification, and traceability for both conforming and nonconforming materials.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in GDP/GMP to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Utilize ERP and QMS systems to accurately document and control inspection and traceability activities.
Required Skills
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and procedures.
- Strong understanding of mechanical equipment operation, maintenance, and inspection processes.
- Ability to use hand-held tools for preventive maintenance, repairs, and tool changes.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy and complete tasks promptly.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Class I, II, and/or III medical device manufacturing.
- Knowledge of and experience with GMP/ISO standards.
- Understanding of GD&T.
- Strong verbal and written English language communication skills.
