Position: Night Shift Janitor
Location: C&J Equipment Manufacturing – Bloomfield, NM
Schedule: Full-Time | Night Shift
Position Summary
C&J Equipment Manufacturing is seeking a dependable and self-motivated Night Shift Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for ensuring work areas, offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas are cleaned and maintained each evening to support a safe and productive workplace.
Essential Duties
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust throughout the facility.
- Empty trash and recycling containers.
- Restock restroom and cleaning supplies.
- Clean windows, doors, and other surfaces as needed.
- Maintain floors using appropriate cleaning equipment.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to management.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform other custodial duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment.
