Job Description
As Workstead’s Sales Associate, you will play an essential role within our Products team, supporting inbound sales and client communications for our lighting collections. You will serve as a key point of contact for designers, architects, and retail clients, helping ensure every interaction with Workstead reflects the care and precision of our brand. Based in our Charleston, SC studio, you will work closely with a small and talented team: our Client Development Manager and the two Partners who are also based locally, as well as the Sales Manager and Senior Client Services & Production Manager, who work remotely. Together, this group drives sales, production, and client relationships across our national network.
Day To Day - Charleston
Inbound Client Support: Respond to incoming sales inquiries, provide product details, and assist with quotes and orders. Contribute to the company's goal to shorten response times, driving maximum conversion rate for all organic inbound inquiries.
Support for Traveling Team: Partner with the Client Development Manager to maintain seamless communication with clients while they are traveling — managing follow-ups, preparing quotes, and coordinating samples or collateral for meetings.
CRM Maintenance: Enter and update client notes, leads, and opportunities shared by the CDM and Sales Manager.
Quote & Order Preparation: Draft quotes, spec sheets, and confirmations, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up.
Team Collaboration: Communicate regularly with both remote and local team members to keep all sales efforts aligned and up to date.
Studio Engagement: Support product launches, maintain displays, and help coordinate client sample requests and logistics.
