Job Description

Job Details
- Manage the full project lifecycle from concept to client handoff of design and renovation projects, ensuring ownership and accountability
- Review architectural plans and oversee field construction activities to ensure alignment with the client’s design requirements
- Conduct measurements, client walkthroughs, and prepare drawings of floor plans and elevations
- Develop design concepts that reflect both the client’s vision and k co LIVING’s aesthetic standards
- Through industry knowledge, source materials, assemble design concepts, and curate sample presentations
- Present ideas to clients and edit layouts and design documents based on feedback
- Price, order, and coordinate logistics with vendors and suppliers
- Engage and communicate confidently with clients and professionals
- Foster strong client relationships and provide service-oriented support
- Oversee project workflow, deadlines, and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks
- Adapt quickly, problem-solve solutions to keep projects moving on schedule
- Expert at developing architectural details from millwork to cabinetry
- Experience with redlining floor plans and elevations (SketchUp and CAD capabilities preferred)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills & Experience Requirements
- Direct, multifaceted experience at a full-service interior design firm
- Robust knowledge of construction and renovations, including architectural plans, framing, electrical, plumbing, and materials
- Ability to build positive relationships with clients, vendors, and industry professionals
- Proficiency with Studio Designer software (required)
- Practical project management experience, including workflow, deadlines, and prioritization
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently with minimal guidance
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and adapt to shifting priorities
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, and Dropbox
- Full-time, in-person position
- Travel required for site and vendor visits. Must have a reliable car
- Standard work hours: Monday–Friday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, with flexibility for additional hours based on workload
