A nationally recognized litigation firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its 1st Party Insurance litigation practice in Austin, TX. The practice includes a wide range of matters, including personal injury, premises liability, construction defect, product liability, trucking/transportation, professional liability, and more.
This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys looking to strengthen their litigation skills, gain hands-on case management experience, and work alongside experienced trial attorneys in a collaborative and supportive environment. The role offers a hybrid schedule, providing flexibility between remote work and in-office collaboration.
What You?ll Do
- Manage your own caseload with partner mentorship and oversight
- Draft and argue motions, conduct depositions, and handle discovery
- Appear in court and participate in trial preparation and proceedings
- Work with sophisticated clients on complex litigation matters
- You'll be part of a team-oriented environment where initiative is encouraged and contributions are recognized.
What We?re Looking For
- Active Texas law license
- 2 years of civil litigation experience (defense preferred)
- Strong legal research, writing, and motion practice skills
- Experience with depositions and discovery processes
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a desire to grow
