Description
The Registration Supervisor coordinates and participate in a variety of clerical activities associated with registering patients, making financial arrangements, reviewing accounts, collecting payments and providing information in the registration area. Maintains liaison with departmental personnel and outside agencies to obtain required billing, insurance and patient history information. Plans and schedules work for the group ensuring proper distribution of assignments. Compiles statistical reports and analyses reflecting operational activities.
This is a full-time position.
Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience: Experience in office and customer service desirable, computer knowledge and ability to troubleshoot system problems, and health insurance knowledge preferred. 3-5 years experience in a registration role preferred.
Alternative to Minimum Qualifications: On-the-job training may be substituted for previous training and education.
