Description
The Cook is responsible for all food preparation for patients and staff, using standardized recipes. Responsible for maintaining high standards of quality in food production, portion control to eliminate waste and leftovers, sanitation and serving food; daily cleaning.
Must be able to read, write, make simple calculations and follow oral and written directions. Must have some formal or on-the-job training in quality food production. Must be able to communicate on the phone. Preferably one (1) year experience as a cook in a hospital or other healthcare facility.
This is a part-time position.
