Senior Acquisitions Associate | Real Estate Private Equity
Location: West Palm Beach, Florida
An entrepreneurial real estate investment firm is seeking a Senior Acquisitions Associate to join its growing investment team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in sourcing, underwriting, and executing commercial real estate investments while working alongside experienced investment professionals on a rapidly expanding platform.

What You'll Do
- Source and evaluate new investment opportunities across multiple commercial real estate asset classes.
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial models, including acquisition, development, and sensitivity analyses.
- Perform market research, comparable analysis, and investment underwriting.
- Lead financial and operational due diligence alongside internal teams and third-party consultants.
- Prepare investment memoranda and present opportunities to senior leadership and investment committees.
- Coordinate with brokers, lenders, legal counsel, consultants, and joint venture partners throughout the acquisition process.
- Assist in negotiating Letters of Intent (LOIs), purchase agreements, financing, and transaction documentation.
- Monitor market trends, capital markets activity, and competitive investment opportunities.
- Support portfolio strategy and collaborate with asset management teams following acquisitions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 4β7 years of experience in commercial real estate acquisitions, investments, private equity, development, or investment banking.
- Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of discounted cash flow (DCF), IRR, equity waterfalls, capitalization rates, and real estate valuation methodologies.
- Experience underwriting institutional-quality commercial real estate investments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
- Commercial real estate private equity or institutional investment platform experience.
- Exposure to development, value-add, opportunistic, or mixed-use investments.
- Experience preparing investment committee materials and participating in transaction execution.
- ARGUS proficiency is a plus.
