What The Position is About:
- Achieve or exceed sales goals by generating specifications of the company’s products and calling on architects, designers, and end-users in the assigned territory
- Create and maintain strong relationships with new customers while building loyalty with existing customers
- Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Develop and deliver sales presentations and close sales
- Conduct Lunch & Learns and CEU presentations
- Partner with Territory Managers to communicate project opportunities and support specification pull-through from design to awarded business
- Represent and promote the company at trade shows and industry events
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of projects while maintaining accurate CRM records and tracking activity
- Commit to continuous learning and knowledge of the company’s products and maintain up to date on industry trends and developments that may affect the market
The Right Candidate Will Have:
- 3 years of outside sales or business development experience in the commercial flooring, building materials, or similar industry
- Demonstrated success calling on architects, designers, or commercial end-users
- Energetic, confident, and organized personality
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
