We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee the renovation of a private school campus and the construction of a new competition pool addition in Fort Lauderdale. The Superintendent will be responsible for day-to-day field operations, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, quality control, safety, and ensuring the project is delivered according to plans, specifications, and schedule.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee the renovation of a private school campus and the construction of a new competition pool addition in Fort Lauderdale. The Superintendent will be responsible for day-to-day field operations, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, quality control, safety, and ensuring the project is delivered according to plans, specifications, and schedule.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all daily field operations from mobilization through completion.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, deliveries, and site logistics.
- Maintain project schedules and coordinate sequencing with the project management team.
- Conduct daily site walks and monitor progress, quality, and workmanship.
- Review plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and potential field conflicts.
- Lead subcontractor meetings and coordinate weekly look-ahead schedules.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite.
- Coordinate work around an active school environment and minimize disruption to school operations.
- Work closely with the PM, architects, engineers, owners, and inspectors to resolve field issues.
- Monitor punch list, commissioning, closeout, and turnover activities.
- Ensure work complies with applicable building codes, safety requirements, and project specifications.
- 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent.
- Experience with commercial, institutional, education, or complex renovation projects.
- Ground-up or major renovation experience preferred.
- Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors on active jobsites.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, plans/specifications, and quality control.
- Ability to communicate effectively with owners, architects, subcontractors, and project management teams.
- Procore experience preferred.
- OSHA 30 preferred.
