Director of Finance - Industrial
Confidential search for an established, privately held global manufacturer of engineered industrial components serving energy, industrial, and renewable markets.
You'd turn operational data into decisions that protect margins and fund growth, reporting directly to the CFO and leading a small, experienced finance team.
🔹 Close the books monthly within 8 business days, with variance analysis that catches cost or margin issues early
🔹 Build an 18-month rolling forecast accurate to within 5 percent, funding capex for new production
🔹 Lead annual budgeting across plant, sales, and R&D while holding SG&A to plan
🔹 Find and execute $2M in working capital and cost savings within 18 months
🔹 Deliver board-ready financials and KPI dashboards on product-line and plant performance
🔹 Partner with operations to price new products at target margin from day one
What We're Looking For
🔹 Proven record closing books and forecasting in manufacturing or industrial environments of similar scale
🔹 Hands-on cost accounting, inventory valuation, and product-line profitability experience
🔹 CPA or equivalent, 8 years of progressive finance leadership
🔹 Comfortable presenting to owners and operators without the jargon
