Senior Supply Chain Manager

The Senior Supply Chain Manager leads supply chain operations to support customer demand, drive operational efficiency, and enable business growth. This role provides strategic direction, ensures execution excellence, and partners cross-functionally to align supply chain performance with organizational goals.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize supply chain operations including production planning, scheduling, and logistics
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and cost performance
• Develop and manage key performance indicators aligned with business objectives
• Own and execute the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process within ERP systems
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Customer Service teams
• Improve on-time delivery (OTD) performance and reduce lead times
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including material shortages and capacity constraints
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure supplier performance and material availability
• Lead supply chain transformation initiatives, including SAP implementation readiness
• Align local processes with global supply chain standards and best practices
• Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team
  
  

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, and retain supply chain personnel
• Provide coaching, performance management, and corrective action as needed
• Conduct regular performance reviews and support employee development
  
  

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field
• 6 years of experience in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing
• 3 years of leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of production planning and inventory control
• Experience in manufacturing environments
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
• Experience in multi-site or global supply chain environments
• Background in precision manufacturing (machining, welding, etc.)
  
  

Work Environment

• Primarily office-based (approximately 80%)
• Up to 10% travel required
• Occasional work in a high-noise manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed
• Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), including eye, hearing, and cleanroom protection
