IT Hospitality Specialist

JOB PURPOSE: The IT Hospitality Specialist oversees, maintains, and troubleshoots all technology systems 
across the property, including hotel operations, event spaces, and back-of-house 
administration. This role ensures continuous, seamless guest connectivity, and strict 
payment compliance. The ideal candidate pairs IT troubleshooting fundamentals with a 
white-glove customer service mindset, resolving technical issues smoothly in a fast-paced 
hospitality environment. 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 
• Performs analysis and support of Point-of-Sale Management Systems including Agilysys, Hilton 
PEP, casino CMS, and other related hospitality applications systems; 
• Coordinates with Hotel, F&B and Hotel Sales Operations to include internal and external 
partners regarding the design, development, installation, testing and maintenance of 
hardware and software related to hospitality systems, including upgrades and installs; 
• Provides support to end users with applications usage; 
• Provides secondary support to point of sale, software, and applications; 
• Monitors and maintains system stability and reacts appropriately to help maintain system 
availability; 
• Communicates and coordinates maintenance schedules and downtime. 
• Prepares and maintain a clear road-map for the system showing current configuration and 
future upgrades and/or configuration changes; 
• Be available for on-call duty by working cooperatively with all levels of staff, internal and 
external; 
• Other duties as assigned. 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES): 
• Must be 21 years of age or older; 
• Ability to comprehend the technical and business needs of front of house and back-office staff, 
especially Hotel and F&B operations; providing support and solutions; 
• Possess a general knowledge of Hotel and F&B services within a resort 
environment; 
• Understand the business and system associations with hotel operations; 
• Written and oral communications skills and well-presented interpersonal skills; 
• Highly self-motivated and keen attention to detail; 
• Proven analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities; 
• Exceptional customer service skills; 
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment; 
REQUIRED EDUCATION OR COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 
• High School Diploma or GED; 
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience; 
• Four years related work experience in a Food and Beverage, Casino/Hotel environment; 
• Two years hands on Point-of-Sale Systems (POS) experience; 
• Technical Certifications such as Google IT Support, A , Office 365 are recognized as a plus; 
• Application support experience with PEP and Agilysys Client GUI. 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: 
• Standing-10% /Walking-20% /Sitting-70%; Computer room setting/secluded and segregated. 
Hotel, Casino, and office settings. 
• Exposure to cigarette smoke and noise. Exposure to computer systems. 
• Lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs. 
• Some travel required. 
• Required to work weekends and holidays as needed.
