Summary:
The Loader Operator is responsible for a variety of tasks to provide production support for WI operations. They typically use motorized equipment such as a front-end loader, yard truck, haul truck.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Participate in mandatory stretching exercise program
- Follow all safety regulations
- Inspect all equipment before operation
- Load stone bunkers for saws
- Shuttle bunkers in/out of production facility
- Unload stone blocks from semi trailers
- Load / Unload stone for the custom saw production facility
- Use the yard truck to move finished trailers
- Shuttle stone stock from the quarry to the production facility using the yard truck and trailers
- Organize and maintain custom saw production facility stock yard
- Load gravel trucks using front end loader
- Weigh stacks of stone slabs on truck scale
- Shuttle roll off truck containers (full & empty) in/out of production facility
- Push up and maintain scrap pile and haul ramp
- Quarry stone in Chilton as needed
- Cross train to serve as a backup to various other loader operators positions
- Snow plowing
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of operating heavy equipment
- Certification in loader and forklift operation- Training and certification are provided on site
- Able to work with minimal supervision, be proactive, and able to work with others
- Data entry, math and computer skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to lift objects weighing between 50-100 pounds

Work Conditions:
