In Short:
You will be responsible for preventative and correctional maintenance of various pieces of industrial machinery. Don't worry, we supply the tools and the training!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Verify that tools and equipment are in proper working condition
- Update & maintain all maintenance records
- Repair all equipment including splitters, saws, loaders, wrappers, quarry trucks, trailers and forklifts
- Perform welding, cutting, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fabrication
- Provide feedback to supervisors and operators on improvement of PM tasks and maintenance operations
- Order parts, tools and materials needed to repair and maintain equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical problems
Qualification Requirements
- Formal education/training required
- 3-5 years mechanical experience (quarry equipment knowledge a plus)
- Ability to read electrical & hydraulic blue prints
- Self-motivated
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently; 100 lbs. occasionally
- Detail oriented
- Ability to adapt to varying work environment
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to use mechanical tools
- Valid Driver License
- Ability to read and use a tape measure
