Job Title: Financial Analyst I (Data)
Job Duration: 6 Months Contract – W2

- This Analyst role within the client BEST Shared Services team is essential for maintaining the data pipeline that drives the A&P Spend Management PowerBI reporting suite.
- You will be responsible for the end-to-end extraction and transformation of financial data from SAP, ensuring that Budget Owners and Leadership have real-time visibility into A&P investments. You’ll be based in our vibrant Tampa office, where you’ll play a key role in driving financial excellence across the organization.
What you will be doing in this role:
- SAP Data Extraction: Execute and monitor recurring financial reports from SAP to capture real-time Actuals and Commitments.
- Data Transformation & Pipeline Management: Convert raw SAP exports (Actuals & Commitments) into optimized formats and manage the SharePoint data repository to ensure seamless ingestion by Power BI.
- Reporting Integrity: Validate data accuracy during the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process, performing rigorous quality checks to ensure Power BI dashboards reflect reliable and precise financial performance.
- Strategic Visibility: Maintain the data flow required for Finance to perform precise month-end reconciliations and provide Budget Owners and leadership with the transparency needed to manage investments effectively.
- Data Strategy Alignment: Proactively coordinate with the Global Data Team to ensure pipeline stability and report availability.
- Referential Integrity: Partner with the Master Data Team to align on financial referentials, ensuring that SAP hierarchies and mappings are correctly reflected in Power BI reporting.
What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 1–2 years of experience in an accounting, finance, or related analytical department.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a high level of pride in work accuracy.
- Strong aptitude to manage and interpret large, complex datasets.
- Ability to perform consistent quality checks to ensure total data integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Microsoft components: Outlook, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Experience or familiarity with SAP.
- Familiarity with Power BI.
