Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, friendly service to enhance their dining experience
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, payments, and cash handling
- A strong understanding of the menus
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to sanitation standards in food handling
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service and smooth restaurant operations
- Support food safety protocols by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining a clean work environment
Skills
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Toast for efficient cashiering and sales transactions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
